General

Q. What is the routing number?
A. Martin Federal Credit Union's Routing Number is 263189218

Q. Will there be a hold on my check?
A. The credit union will place holds on all checks with the first $200.00 being available to be drawn on. There are exceptions to this such as state, federal checks and payroll checks that are printed, from a major company and show the benefit statement attached as proof of the check being a payroll check. All Remote Deposit Checks will be placed on hold as well with the first $200.00 being made available.

Q. How much is it to open an account?
A. You will are required to deposit a onetime membership fee of $5.00 into a savings account, which is your ownership in the credit union and additional $5.00 for the minimum deposit. Just $10 dollars total.

Q. What balance do you have to keep in the savings account?
A. There is no minimum balance required. However to accrue interest, your savings account must maintain a $50 daily balance.

Q. How much are your official checks or money orders?
A. Both are $5.00.

Q. What do I need to open an account?
A. You will need a government issued id such as a driver's license or passport with your current address.

Q. How do I get a new pin for my debit card?
A. Simply call us at 866-985-2273 from the phone number associated with your account. You will be prompted to enter your full 16-digit number.

Q. How do I change my address?
A. You may change your mailing address through your Online Banking. After you have logged into Online Banking, click on "User Options" and choose the option to "Change Postal Address."

If you do not have access to Online Banking, you may submit a letter bearing your signature with your request to change the address. This letter may be provided to Member Services by visiting a Branch or faxing the letter to 407-210-1892.

Q. Are there any daily cutoffs for making deposits?
A. For deposits made inside the Branch, the daily cutoff is at the time of Branch closing, Monday-Thursday at 5 PM in the drive thru, and Friday's at 6 PM.

For deposits made via Mobile Deposit, deposits that are received before 3 PM on a regular business day will be deposited that day. Any Mobile Deposit received after 3 PM will be posted the following business day.

Q. How do I sign up for online banking?
A. To log in to Online Banking for the first time, you will need:

  • User ID - this is your account number
  • Password - this is the last four of the primary account holder's social security number*

You will be required to select a new Password after successful login. If you don't have this information or are in need of assistance, please contact Member Services at (407) 857-6328 ext. 0 or (866) 294-6700 ext. 0.

Q. Can I view my statements online?
A. Yes, Just log in to your Online Banking account, under the Additional Services tab you will see eStatements. This is where you can view your eStatements.

Loans

Q. When is my credit card payment due?
A. All payments are due on the 14th of the month.

Q. Can I change the due date on my credit card?
A. No, all payments are set for the same date.

Q. Do you have to be a member to have a loan with the Credit Union?
A. Yes, only members of Martin FCU may have a loan or a credit card with us.

Q. What address should my insurance company list on my policy as lien holder/loss payee?

Q. Can I make my Martin FCU loan payment by phone or online from another bank?
A. No. We are not set up to take electronic payments at this time. You may make a payment in person or by mail.

Q. If I want to make a principal only payment on my loan what are the steps?
A. In online banking you may transfer the funds from your MFCU share account by clicking on the Transfer Between Accounts tab, enter in the amount as well as the To and From account then click on the Overpayment radial button, choose Principal Only Payment and then click on the Transfer Funds button. To make a principal only payment by mail or in the lobby, indicate on your transaction slip or check that the payment should be applied to principal only. Principal only payments cannot be done at a Shared Branching location.
